The Andover Farmers Market accepts SNAP, SUN Bucks, HIP, WIC and Senior FMNP coupons.

SNAP - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

Use your SNAP EBT card at the Andover Farmers Market to buy eligible foods.

We will provide a Market Match of up to $25 for our SNAP Customers per market day. Here’s how to take advantage of your benefits:  

Start at the Information Table

  • We will swipe your EBT card for the agreed upon amount of SNAP dollars and match up to $25 additional dollars. $10 becomes $20, $20 becomes $40, $25 becomes $50. We give tokens for both SNAP and match to be used to purchase your items.

  • The tokens can be used at all SNAP eligible vendors for food items.  

  • Look for SNAP signage at eligible vendor tents.

SUN Bucks

SUN Bucks provides $120 in grocery benefits per eligible school-age child when school is out for summer. We will provide a $25 weekly match for SUN Bucks, which can be used to purchase food from eligible SNAP vendors. It may also be known as Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (or Summer EBT).

Children can receive SUN Bucks on top of other benefits like SNAP and WIC, and in addition to free SUN Meals from local meal sites.

The match will be provided in tokens which must be used by the end of the Farmer’s Market Season.

HIP - Healthy Incentives Program

  • Check back to find out if WIC coupons will be distributed to eligible women and children at our market this season.

Senior Coupons

FNMP - Farmers Market Nutrition Program

Use your Senior coupons at the Andover Farmers Market to buy fresh fruits, vegetables and honey.

  • The Andover Senior Center will be distributing Senior Coupons some time in July to those eligible.  

  • Senior coupons can be used at Farmer Dave’s, Gaouette Farm, Pleasant Valley Farm and Tewksbury Honey.

  • Call the Project Bread Food Source Hotline to find out more about the programs that you may be eligible for. Calls are free and confidential. 800-645-8333, Mon–Fri: 8am–7pm & Sat: 10am–2pm. They have translators in many languages to assist with applications and answer questions about benefits.

  • Village Food Hub operates a 24/7 food pantry at the Ballard Vale Church in Ballard Vale on Clark Road in Andover. Andover Farmers Market does a weekly collection for the food pantry.
